Commissions. Want One?


I will take commissions on a monthly bases and will make a journal entry about it when they are open with the amount of slots I am willing to take for that month. If you are in dire need of a commission and would really like to have something done, please note me. It never hurts to ask and I may be able to make time to do something for you. :)

These are my current rates, to give you an idea:



TRADITIONAL SKETCHES
Anything of the pencil sketchy variety with light digital shading. Original can be mailed to you with additional S&H charge.
Examples:


Price: $12 for one character. $10 for each additional character. $15 extra for background.

TRADITIONAL INKED DRAWING
Same as above except inked either with pens or digitally. Original can be mailed to you with additional S&H charge. Light color and highlights can be added.
Example:


Price: $20 for one character. $15 for each additional character. $20 extra for background.

DIGITALLY COLORED DRAWING
Same as above plus digitally colored in Photoshop (cel-shading or simple painterly shading). Original sketch can be mailed to you with additional S&H and you will also be emailed a high resolution, non-watermarked file of the image.

Digital commissions will be offered periodically and price will vary. Please ask if you wish to commission me for a digital drawing.




OTHER COMMENTS
-I accept payment through Paypal.
-I specialize in anime and children's book illustration styles. OC's and Fanart are welcome also (Gundam Wing, Naruto, Avatar, Just name it, I've probably seen it). Yaoi and relationship stuff is fine too, just nothing too graphic.
-I have a right to reject a commission if I don't feel it is something that I can do (either skill-wise or too complicated a request).
-No price is set in stone, if you want to negotiate pricing, please note me :)

All prints are Limited Edition Giclees and the paper is Hannemuhle Photo Rag 188 gm - a tree-free, acid-free, stabilized, museum-quality, water-resistant, lightfast, heavyweight matte finish paper (should last as long as a photograph).

Limited Edition Shadow Boxes:
Each shadow box is a duplicate of a watercolored original. Each cut-out has been printed on the same paper as the Giclees above (see above for more details on paper quality). All pieces have been cut-out by hand and lovingly assembled in these 5" by 7" shadow box frames. :heart: Please click on the thumb for a more detailed view. Each will be wrapped in bubble-wrap and boxed for optimum safety during shipping!

When I have the money, would you be willing to do a shadow box of a commissioned piece? I would love to order one or two and hang them in my apartment =3 Maybe even more than that, but only time will tell how broke or not broke I am XD <333

If you're willing, how much would a custom shadow box be, roughly? :hug:

Hmm I've never thought about commissioned shadow boxes before. I guess price would all depend on how intricate the image was, how many layers, and how large. For instance the two 5" by 7" shadow boxes in my gallery ( [link] and [link] ) are four layers and the originals sell for between $125 and $150. A commission would be a bit more than that because, instead of an image of my own design, I would have to work with you to portray exactly what you'd like and that takes more time and effort.
If you're looking for something cheaper, I do have pre-made shadow-box "prints" for sale in my journal here: [link] They're replicas of the original shadow boxes in my gallery.
If you're still interested in a commission and you want something bigger, just drop me a note and we can discuss it further. :)

lol thanks! I figure if they're more affordable, more people will bite but I'm always adjusting the price due to demand so "get 'em while they're hot" as they say. I'm going to be changing jobs this summer so I may up the price a bit in the near future to help out with financial situations. I still want to keep them affordable though so we'll see how it goes for now :3
