Gah! This took so looooong. I get so obsessed with details that I just. don't. stop.
Anyhoo, this is a commission for  of her characters Semiyar and Diana who were an absolute pleasure to draw, I must say! That's probably why I spent so much time on it  She wanted this particular scene so I did my best to capture how it was described. Diana's face took the longest. She's supposed to be rather enthralled by the sparkly floating gift. As I drew her, I kept hearing Jeremy from Secret of Nimh in my head. "*gasp* ooooo a sparkly"  I'm rather proud of her hands too. She looks as if she's about to snatch the necklace and run off with it or bury it or hide it for later or whatever her kind does with sparklies... I want a sparkly.. lucky.. Not so proud of the perspective on the wall. No sir. I need to work on that point perspective whatchamacallit. 1 point perspective is the hardest, but 2 and 3 point are quite simple... I don't know how to explain how to do it though... if you teleport here, I can show you

I think I've found some tutorials on DA that looked useful. I think I mostly just get confused on where you put the perspective points themselves or how you decide to put them wherever it is that you put them.. or something. You'd think they would have taught us these things in class since I majored in art but nnnooooo. 8|
